Your Friday binge-list update is here and it promises a list of new movies and shows that will keep you glued to the screen. In theatres, we have Taapsee Pannu’s thriller movie Doobaara, which seems pretty interesting judging by its trailer. Joining the list is also the Indian original Minus One on Lionsgate Play. 1. THE SWITCH – LIONSGATE PLAY

Starring Jennifer Aniston, and Patrick Bateman, the story is about Kassie (Jennifer Aniston) who uses a sperm donor to conceive a child, much to the dismay of her best friend Wally. She remains in the dark for many years, unaware that Wally had replaced her sample with his own. Watch the drama unfold and possibly a romance spark as the duo discovers the truth.

2. DOBAARAA – THEATRE

One of the most interesting drops this Friday, the movie is based on the 2018 Spanish film Mirage and follows a young woman as she time travels, and gets the power that can change her present reality. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie features Taapsee Pannu, Rahul Bhatt, Saswata Chatterjee and Pavail Gulati in the lead. 

3. THE LAST CLIENT – BOOKMYSHOW STREAM

Quite renowned in her field, Psychologist Susanne meets the last client of the day, Mark. Expecting it to be a normal meeting, she soon realises that the next one hour will turn her life upside down as the person in front of her is a notorious serial killer.

4. GLOW UP: SEASON 4 – NETFLIX

For those who love reality shows, the latest season will see aspiring make-up artists coming together and putting their best skills in front of the judge. The one who wins gets to work with popular people from the industry.

5. ORPHAN FIRST KILL – BOOKMYSHOW STREAM

A prequel to the 2009 film Orphan, the movie sees Leena Klammer escaping a psychiatric facility in Estonia by impersonating Esther – the missing daughter of a wealthy family. However, she now is up against a mother who will do anything and go to any lengths to safeguard her family from evil.

6. MINUS ONE – LIONSGATE PLAY

Starring Aisha Ahmed and Ayush Mehra in the lead, the series revolves around Riya and Varun still living together in New Delhi despite their break-up. What follows next is a series of issues and how they tackle them. 

7. BUTTER – BOOKMYSHOW STREAM

A lonely obese boy who everyone calls “Butter” is a victim of constant bullying and also facing self-esteem and family issues. The guy gains everyone’s attention when he decides to eat until he dies – lives on Internet, grabbing everyone’s attention.

8. MAKING THE CUT SEASON 3 – AMAZON PRIME VIDEO

12 designers will compete with each other trying to win the tasks thrown their way. But the road to being the winner ain’t that easy.

9. FIRESTARTER – BOOKMYSHOW STREAM

The sci-fi thriller is about Charlie who has an unprecedented gift and can set things on fire with her mind. For the longest time, her parents have to hide her from the federal agency that wants to use her power for mass destruction. But as she turns 11, it’s impossible to control her and she is spotted by a mysterious operative who plans to get a hold of her. But Charlie has some other plans.

10. NOPE – THEATRE

The sci-fi horror movie is directed by Jordan Peele and stars Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun, Michael Wincott, and Brandon Perea. The movie revolves around two siblings who own a ranch and are trying to collect evidence about a UFO.

11. THE NORTHMAN – BOOKMYSHOW STREAM

The epic historical action thriller film is directed by Robert Eggers and is based on the legend of Amleth. The movie revolves around Prince Amleth whose father is brutally murdered and his mother is kidnapped by his uncle. He sets on the mission to avenge his father and save his mother.
